Randolph County Sheriff's Office Launches "Brew With The Blue"
ASHEBORO, NC — The Randolph County Sheriff's Office invites the community to the inaugural “Brew With the Blue” event on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, in recognition of National Coffee With a Cop Day.
“Brew With the Blue” is a new community outreach initiative designed to break down barriers between law enforcement and the people they serve. Hosted in familiar, relaxed community settings, such as local coffee shops, community centers, and other accessible gathering places, "Brew With the Blue” is an opportunity for citizens to meet deputies, ask questions, and share concerns; no agenda, no speeches, just conversation and neighbors getting to know neighbors, discussing what matters most in their neighborhoods.
"Brew With The Blue is about showing up in the places where life happens and making time for real conversation, building connections, one cup at a time. That's what this program is all about," said Community Outreach Coordinator Sgt. Tysinger.
"We want our community to know that we're approachable, that we listen, and that we're here for them," said Sheriff Seabolt. “Sometimes, what is happening in one community may not be the same as what is going on in another. When residents and deputies can talk openly about what’s working, what’s concerning, and what matters most, we build trust and strengthen the relationships that help keep Randolph County welcoming and safe.”
